Project: Site Characterization Survey for Former Harshaw Chemical FUSRAP Site

Description:

ChesNuc provided a GPS-based radiation survey system and performed a gamma walkover characterization survey for the former Harshaw Chemical facility, a FUSRAP site. ChesNuc was responsible for performing the survey and evaluation of the data. An evaluation was performed comparing the FIDLER NaI detector with a conventional 2X2 inch NaI detector for selection of appropriate instrument for the project. This project was part of a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) for the site.
