Project: Decommissioning of Harvard University Cyclotron

Description:

ChesNuc developed the Final Status Survey Plan for the decommissioning of the Harvard cyclotron. This plan was based on MARSSIM guidance and application of Class 1, 2, and 3 level surveys. Modeling based on cyclotron operation and material activation evaluations were performed for establishing a cost-effective approach. QA oversight for the project was provided. ChesNuc was responsible for preparing the Final Status Survey Report and presentation to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts supporting the decommissioning and license termination.
