Description:

ChesNuc provided radiological survey, operational radiation safety, and industrial safety support for the scoping, characterization, decontamination, and Final Status Survey of a manufacturing facility contaminated with Co-60. ChesNuc provided a staff Radiation Safety Officer, Health and Safety Officer, radiation safety technicians, and survey personnel. ChesNuc used its proprietary MARSS survey and data collection system on the project. ChesNuc engineered disposition of the source term and provided regulatory interface with Agreement State regulators on behalf of the licensee.
