Project: Provide Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Services to the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Medical Center - New Orleans

Description:

ChesNuc provided a full-time RSO to the VA Medical Center - New Orleans to meet the agency’s NRC licensing requirements. The RSO managed the facility dosimetry program; radioactive waste collection, treatment, transportation, and disposal; all regulatory reporting and applications; calibration of radiation detection equipment and sources; and developed and implemented all operational radiation safety procedures at the facility.
